Both teams were preparing for the upcoming Euro 2004 to be held in Portugal this summer and went head-to-head for the first time since the last Euro's back in 2000. There was to be no repeat of that 3-2 thriller though and this game ended in a cagey and tight 0-0 stalemate. Bouma was a late withdrawal from the squad due to injury and on the night it was actually Bolo Zenden who played as #5. The winger turned centre back wore #4 in the summer at the Euro's and went on to represent the Oranje 37 times going to 3 major tournaments in total. This match was the debut appearance for Holland's new away shirt from the Total 90 range Click the banner to get it at ONLY: GBP149.99
