Norway had suffered defeat to Wales in the opening round of qualifying but they held on here for a 0-0 draw in their last home game of the process. They won in Oslo against eventual group winners Yugoslavia in this superb pinstripe design. Albertsen played the full match and made 25 appearances for Norway between 1976-84 and played overseas notably with Den Haag, Feyenoord and Olympiakos.
