The detail here though is the same as in the other tables we do with spine and cover detail carved in for added realism and the distinction between the pages and thicker book covers highlighted to great effect throughout. The lift up lid has solidly fixed hinges and the compartment is deep and plentiful for discreetly storing all those little nik naks safely away when not needed.
